I have been working with essential oils for almost 7 years and love the way they support our emotional and physical well-being.
Many of my products incorporate essential oils in them or are meant to be used with them.
At Lilac and Plum our goal is to do our part to help make the world a better place by supporting others emotional and mental well-being.
I try to do this by providing products that encourage positive mindsets, help others practice self-care, and to bring fun and magical things to life because some days adulting is just too serious and we need to have some fun.
I want to encourage you today to find a smell you love and bring about a positive change in your life.
Now...
Let's talk about the power of aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy is the really cool practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefits.
Aromatherapy has been used for centuries.
When we breathe in any essential oil, the scent molecules travel from our olfactory nerves directly to our brain and then make an impact on our amygdala, which is the emotional center of the brain.
All essential oils have the ability to change our emotions because of this.
For instance...
Smelling lavender can have a calming effect.
Smelling peppermint can wake you up and make you feel like you can get some things done today.
Smelling orange can leave you feeling happy and carefree.
Isn't that so cool?
And now you can be empowered too..
Simply add a drop or two of essential oils to any of our one of a kind hand made by me diffuser bracelets or necklaces and then wear it.
That's it!
And just like that... you are automatically supporting your emotions and moods, and BONUS you are quietly helping others around you feel better too.
