Avoiding the Sales Format on Facebook

Avoiding Sales Format

Since the new update on Facebook, we have all been dealing with the challenges of our posts popping up in that dreaded Sales Format".

Here is how to avoid it...

1. When creating your post... add your photos and then schedule your post... if you are posting now... then go ahead and post your post, then go to step 3.
2. Click on Scheduled posts in the menu on the left hand side of your screen.
3. Locate your post and click the 3 dots in the right hand corner of the post... choose edit post.
4. Add in your text and links
5. Hit save

Here are some helpful things to keep in mind to avoid the Sales Format from turning on by itself...

* Avoid putting prices in the content of your post.
* Edit graphics to include your prices instead.
* Put prices in the description of the photo.
* If you must add a price use the EMOJI rather than $.
* Go back in and edit the post with the amounts after you have already scheduled it or if you have already posted it.
* Try to turn off sale format prior to your post posting.
* Get creative, avoid words like sale in the content of your post
